Josephine

Casual without losing any power of grace and beauty the Josephine is a timeless dress. Cut in an A-line style the french cotton point d’espirit used on the skirt of the dress, also defines the v-neck in the form of a pleated ruffle.

The bodice uses an embroidered point d’espirit with it’s scalloped edges layered in an inverted V below the bustline. Buttons down the front center seam and the back seam gather together following the natural lines of the edges to a dropped V over the backside.

The elbow length sleeves have silk buttons sewn down the center for a classic, yet contemporary flare.

A soft rose silk charmeuse provides the perfect balance as the lining to the Josephine.
