Martin has always been inspired to design gowns for women who want their own style and personality to shine through in the dress they choose to mark their celebration be it their first, second…or seventh!
Starting out with antique laces found at flea markets, Marty has been creating unique pieces since she was eighteen. Working to create one-of-a-kind pieces has since evolved to creating one-of-a-kind designs with a timeless beauty and quality, which has now become her trademark.
By making everything in-house, Martin McCrea designs have a special flexibility seldom found in other bridal lines. In order to accommodate all the many different shapes and sizes of women, we offer our gowns made in petite sizes to plus sizes, with custom sizing available.
We also believe that talking directly with the source allows for better communication about what each bride desires in their dress. Answering questions, giving special instructions on measurements is something we make ourselves available for with each customer.
With the Martin McCrea collection we strive to be fluid, contemporary yet elegant, sensual and original. These qualities appeal to the discriminating consumer and have allowed us to grow as a company and continue to expand our market.
The bridal line has now achieved a high level of name recognition: Brides-to-be shop with pictures of our gowns and ask specifically for the line. The Martin McCrea name has become synonymous with the most beautiful, highest quality, USA-hand-assembled gowns available.
We understand that on such an important day of a woman’s life, she desires to feel special, uniquely different, and will settle only for the best, and that’s what we hope to offer.

We are and always have been a small production company. We do not mass produce our clothes or send them elsewhere for production. Our laces rotate with availability and our colors sometimes change with the recipes we receive which we have always thought to be part of the process of trying to offer continuing designs on a small production basis.
We have our own size chart we use for all of our designs, please take time to consult this when ordering. To make the process more convenient, we have included our custom size form in our checkout process as well as a PDF version for added ease when ordering special measurements.
We want to be sure you are confident in your purchase with us; therefore, we offer a very reasonable return policy. This gives you a chance to see a dress in person before making a permanent choice. For shipping information, please consult the Order page.
Our typical lead time is eight weeks from when you want to receive your dress. If you need a dress in less than eight weeks, please contact us directly by phone or e-mail as to availability or rush fees.
As time passes and styles change, so does the availability of certain laces on particular dresses. In some cases, we may be forced to discontinue a style due to lack of availability. Most often, however, we can do a style with the same pattern by simply replacing the fabric or lace.
Most of our dresses are made in natural and then dyed. This allows us a myriad of color options, including dye matching. For more specific requests, please consult with us directly.
We do all the design work, altering, and dying here, so we have some flexibility with our styles. Please consult us when you have a specific request and we will quote you on cost and our ability to accommodate you.
